Integrated Learning

Our school curriculum is based on CAPS (DoE) although we also integrate best practices from various international schools of thought. We believe in broad spectrum teaching and in developing skills in the field of STEAM, ROBOTICS and LITERACY. Lessons are based on prescribed themes and structured to cover Fine and Gross Motor Skills, Academics; Sensory Activities and of course Free Play!

Daily

Drop-off is from 6.30am and our day starts at 8am. Daily timetable includes lessons, meals, activities, naptime and outdoor play.

Aftercare

Aftercare services are provided at our EduFun Learning Centre (ELC) from 2pm to 5.30pm.

Play is child’s work

Our main task at EduFun4Kids is to equip your child with skills for life, in all aspects of development. We are a Feeder School to a number of reputable Primary Schools in the area. Our aim is to prepare all of our children for the foundation phase of schooling.

Our mission is to provide a secure and educative challenging environment, where our Christian value system may be implemented. We hope to encourage our learners to become able leaders and exemplary members of society.

‘On Tuesday I attended the Monkeynastix year end demonstration at the school. As I went out of my car, I could hear some nursery rhythms being sung and when I looked up I could see through the window teacher Gladys singing along. What warmed my heart was that she was singing along and had my youngest daughter on her right arm ( she’s quite clingy 😅) It was sheer chance that I was there exactly at that time. I waved several times to them before they both recognized me. When we leave our young ones at school we can only hope and pray that the teachers are kind to them. And what I witnessed on Tuesday was a confirmation of the love and care your teachers have towards children. They are warm and have big hearts to love our children.’

‘Edufun4kids has been a home to us for many many years. My eldest was there for 6 years and now our baby will also join the Edufun family later this year. Mercia, Tannie Ludie and oom Chris go above and beyond for our babies. They treat everyone with love and respect. I could not be happier with the excellent level of service the school gives, from the food prepared to the high level of education taught. Edufun is really the best ever. I wish they could open a primary school!’

We were looking for a school that had a high standard of education, clean, safe and trustworthy and boy did Edufun not let us down… from the time I first met Mercia and all the lovely teachers I was blown away… Mercia took our hand and guided us step by step on the best route for our child… I am happy to say she passed her assessment at 6 years old and was accepted for grade 1 into a lovely school despite being the youngest. She was so ready and confident and excelled in grade 1 so much so that she was the most advanced in reading… all thanks to teacher Cecile and Mercia.

‘I’m a fussy parent… the kind schools don’t get excited about! It was difficult for me to let go of my little ones but as other working parents know, its not easy to juggle everything all the time. At EduFun4Kids, both of my children found a home away from home. Shared morals and firm christian values. A safe haven where mommy has peace of mind (and that doesn’t come easy). An extended family with high standards and big shoulders. And better meals than I was cooking at home! Where we’ve fallen short, the school has always stepped in and filled the gaps. I don’t even want to think about leaving (2 kids with 8 years of school memories… there are going to be lots of tears). And major expectations from me for future schools! THANK YOU Mercia, aunty Ludy, uncle Chris, the many teachers that have made an impact, as well as all of the staff that help to shape our little ones into future leaders. We love you :*

Raising future leaders

Our children are taught by qualified teachers and aided by assistant teachers. All of the staff are trained in EFR and First Aid. We stay open during school holidays and offer aftercare until 17h30 on weekdays. Our school has 24/7 surveillance and an open door policy. We are a feeder school (Grade 1) to a number of reputable primary schools in the area.
