Our weekly meals are posted at reception for parents and staff to see.
Menus are seasonal. Which means fresh and delicious fruit and vegetables are sourced.
Daily menu comprises: breakfast, snack, lunch, snack.
A healthy eating plan is offered. A wide variety of foods are offered. Meals and snacks are well planned and prepared in a hygienic environment.
Balanced diet + exercise = helps your body to stay healthy.
Weather permitting; snacks/lunch may be eaten outside. Else all meals are served in the classroom.
All meals are supervised.
Healthy drinks are supplied:
- Water – best drink (children always have access to water and may have more water than any other drink during the day)
- Fruit juices are diluted
- Rooibos tea
- Iced Rooibos tea
- Milk (full cream)
- Winter: Warm milk / Milo / Hot Chocolate / Horlicks / Rooibos tea
